I think that Peter Pan was onto something.

It’s not that I agree with never growing up (though at times I wish that I could do that too!), but I think we lose some magic in growing up. I love the enthusiasm and confidence of children. A child who takes piano lessons will tell you that they’re a pianist. I love that. The “I try and so I am” attitude.
We lose this as adults.
We are afraid to try new things.
We get comfortable in our own little worlds and are afraid to try something new. I’ve decided I try so I am. I am trying to be a writer so now I am one. I’m ready to take on this new dream of mine.
Because it doesn’t matter if I fly or I fail, it matters that I did it anyway.
